Half-way there

The school year is pretty much half over. I'm excited about that. I've been looking forward to the new semester for quite some time, and now it is only week away. There is something about a new start that is refreshing. It's not that I didn't like this last semester, but I get to teach more math next semester. I like math. Math is a friend of my brain. I looked through my university math notebook the other day. A large part of me wished I was back in school, sitting in math class. I'm disappointed that I don't remember all that stuff. I have to re-teach myself.

Life is good. Busy but good. I keep thinking of all these things that I want to do but am wondering how I'll find the time to fit them all in. When basketball is over there will be some extra time that I can use to my advantage! The prep should be less next semester since I have one less course to teach. Things are looking up.

February should be full of greatness. I need to plan a singing night, then there is the Brad Paisley concert, hockey, a trip to Killarney, and who knows what else.

I cooked soup last night. It was somewhat tasty. It's nice having the opportunity to bring something filling for lunch. I think it makes the day go faster. Cooking soup was one of those things on my list of things to do, so I guess that I am accomplishing things slowly. I currently have a craving for brownie batter, maybe that'll be the next job that I conquer.

It's almost 10, and I haven't really had much of an opportunity to turn of the brain. I'm gonna give that a go now, and hopefully get a restful night's sleep so that I can stay awake for the hockey game tomorrow night.

"Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you only have one life to live and one chance to do all the things you want to do."
