What a spectacular day. We got a glimpse of our baby! I was a little nervous through the process. Here I was on a bed with nowhere to look but the ceiling. Every now and then I'd glance over at the technician but her face said "strictly business." The room was silent with the occasional beep of the machine. I started to fear something was wrong. I'm sure the over extended bladder didn't help. When all was done, and Sean could join me, we were given a sneak peak of the miracle that fills my belly. We saw two legs, two arms, a pumping heart with four chambers, an active stomach, a developed spine, and a distinct mouth. Things are looking good. They report a size of about 1 pound 3 ounces, which was larger than I expected. Must take after dad!

The past few weeks have been awesome. I've been feeling great, have some extra energy, and have been feeling the baby's workouts. Feeling the movements is kind of like my little secret. Nobody else can tell. Special. Last week Saturday was the first time Sean was able to feel the little one. His response was a high pitched girlish scream. He's starting to get more used to the feeling, but his reaction never ceases to amaze me.
