It's spring - and I want steak

The weather has been amazing for most of this last week. It surely makes it more difficult to sit inside a school for a majority of the day. I guess it's about time to start heading out during noon hours to play some football - just hope I don't break anyone's fingers this year.

For the better part of the last 3 weeks I have been wanting steak. So I took the initiative to go buy a bbq. I was so pumped and so optimistic that I could assemble it myself. Well, its been nothing short of an adventure. First as me and mom are making the purchase she is left sitting at the propane tanks for an extended amount of time. Then it was up to use two to carry it up the stairs. She makes comments at the most inappropriate times and proceeds to drop the big bbq box on me as I'm ascending the stair case. A few squished hands and strained muscles later we made it up the stairs and on to the balcony. So I was confident I could figure out how to put the baby together. I took out the assembly manual and was completely overwhelmed. Who would've thought that you'd need tools. Maybe there are some in the box that I just haven't found yet. I can get it done. When it is complete I will be having steak and I'll will document the event with photographs. It'll truly be a great day.

You'd think that by this time of the school year I'd be okay with Monday's. But nope...I'm still not. I still get stressed on Sunday nights, and part of me dreads Monday, even though I'm not sure why. I think the next month will be crazy busy. An escape would be good - but I guess only I could make that happen. June will come fast and then it'll be time for summer. One day at a time...

Time for some more hockey on tv. I'll try and make this Sunday evening as enjoyable as possible...even if it is steakless..
