So Spring Break is quite the wonderful change of pace. Two days down, and I've actually accomplished a fair share. I've organized my spare bedroom (as best as I could until a get a new cart...), I organized some pictures, I baked cookies, cleaned, completed some school work, updated my marks, bought a blue recycling box, and have successfully caught up on some serious sleep.
Throughout these two days I've realized a lot. First, a nap every day is not a good thing. It actually sucked. So today I kept busy and refrained from a mid-day sleep, and I feel a lot better tonight. Second, I think that an idle mind HURTS. Yesterday I didn't do anything intellectually stimulating and my head hurt all day and evening. It was crazy. Today I went back to some serious thinking and I feel wonderful. I've also come to the realization that tonight is my last night of watching hockey for this season. That makes me sad. I've have a huge void that I'll have to fill. Not sure what I'm going to do - now I'll have to make an effort to find a reason to get out. I guess that's not so bad, but hockey will be missed.
So tomorrow I think it's off to Fargo. I really suck at shopping so I hope that there are deals of some sort that will make it easier. No expectations though. If nothing else at least I'll get a Krispy Kreme donut and maybe a swim in the pool. Before I know it, Monday will be here and it'll be back to the old grind...but until then I'll just enjoy this last night of hockey.
