Spring Break

When you get a week off, it flies by. The week started off great with a trip to Grand Forks. Watching my mom navigate through the water that had overtaken the road was priceless. She really stresses about such things. Maybe I shouldn't laugh. Well we made it safe and sound so it is a little funny.

The hotel room was stellar. I quite enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. It was relaxing. The food was heavenly. I can't wait to do it again!

The rest of the week, well it was slightly mundane. There was another lovely storm which sort of confined me on Wednesday. I made it out for lunch on Thursday. Didn't know I'd end up at a restaurant that ran out of chicken fingers just before me order. That always happens when you are craving something for a week in advance. The company was good, however, and that's the important part.

Friday I stayed busy during the day getting stuff sorted out. The day flew by. I got hungry - and then grumpy of course. I have a tendency to ruin things when I'm hungry. I got to work on that.

A week off and the stories aren't too numerous. It's crazy how much those kids add to my life. Back at school today was great. I haven't laughed that hard, or as much, as I did today. They are full of stories, and comments that never fail to make me smile. It makes coming back from a holiday that much better.

Time for some sleep. I'm tired and tomorrow will be another fun-filled day!
